First trip to the Doctors

Chris & I made a whirlwind trip to New Castle to pick up Tiffany and bring her to live with us until she delivers in February. Call me a control freak but the prenatal piece is critical and I want to make sure she has the best care and has the ability to do everything she is supposed to. She is highly compliant and an absolute joy to be around.

We just got back from our first trip to the doctors. We selected "the best OB/GYN in the world" according to my friend Tahira (she is a doctors wife and extremely particular about physician services!) This visit was paperwork heavy - not very fun - but very necessary. Tiffany has already gained 5 lbs - she now weighs a whopping 103 lbs. If she wasn't so precious, I'd smack her! We came home with a stack of prenatal vitamins, literature and an appointment for a prenatal class as well as our next appointment when we expect to hear the heartbeat. That will be awesome! We got their latest appointment on Friday, August 8th in hope that Chris would be home from his trip to Texas (I want him to hear the heartbeat!) But alas, he will arrive 3 hours late. Oh well . . .

Tiffany's head is in a great place. Her spirit is high and she is very focused and excited about the adoption. She has given me permission to publish her picture on this site. Stay tuned to see the beautiful features our baby is going to be blessed with.
